The incident happened at approximately 0215hrs on Sunday 21 April outside the Flying Man public house in
The 21-year-old Pocklington man was said to be standing outside the pub when he was allegedly approached by a man who was unknown to him.
The offender struck the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground where he then kicked him in the head several times before leaving the area.
