Some time between 2300hrs on Sunday 21 April and 0730hrs the following morning, the terraced property was approached and a lit firework was allegedly pushed through the letter box.
Minor damage was caused to the curtain at the door and there was a single scorch mark on the carpet but fortunately no more damage was caused and nobody was hurt.
Police would like to speak to anyone with information about the incident or anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the relevant time.
