This was the last time the owner saw her pet.
A witness has said, just at 1pm on Thursday (24th April) they saw two teenage boys and an older man allegedly take photographs of the dog, before picking up the dog outside the RNLI station and walk away with her towards the Living Seas Centre and large car park at the top of South Landing.
The dog allegedly was seen with a bleeding paw, whilst being carried away by the men.
Officers are treating the disappearance as theft and are appealing for anyone who believes they may know Daisy’s whereabouts to come forward.
Daisy is described by her owner as very scared, and especially timid of men.
Daisy is described as ‘very beige’, almost white in colour, which is apparently very rare for a Cocker Spaniel), She was wearing the same red collar as shown in the pictures and likes to stand up on her back legs.
The three men allegedly seen by witnesses carrying a dog are described as; two teenage boys, one wearing a distinctive purple hooded top and the other having long hair. We do not have a description of the older man.
It is thought the dog and the men may have got into a car, parked in the South Landing carpark and left the area, moments later.
The owners of Daisy are distraught and naturally want their dog returning safe and well. If you saw this incident, have any information which may help the police locate Daisy, then please ring Humberside Police on 101, quoting log number 534 25/04/2014.
With Flamborough being a popular tourist destination with various caravan sites and holiday homes, we would welcome this appeal being shared further than just the local area.
