If you saw or heard anything in relation to these burglaries please call Humberside Police on telephone number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting Crime Reference CS/2053320/2014.

We would like to help people to help themselves and to protect their property and contents and would ask you to consider the following advice:

KEEP AN EYE ON YOU AND YOUR NEIGHBOURS PROPERTIES

NEVER LEAVE DOORS OR WINDOWS OPEN (ESPECIALLY GROUND FLOOR WINDOWS)

LOCK YOUR DOORS EVEN WHEN YOU ARE IN

NEVER LEAVE ITEMS ON SHOW

BE VIGILANT, REPORT ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS AND ENSURE YOUR HOMES REMAIN SECURE DURING THE DAY AND NIGHT.

KEEP YOUR HOUSE AND CAR KEYS SOMEWHERE SAFE AND HIDDEN WHILE YOU ARE IN BED.

The public have a role to play too by keeping their properties secure, registering property onto www.immobilise.com so it can be identified and returned if lost or stolen and by calling Humberside Police with information about criminality.

The public are encouraged to call the police if they see people acting suspiciously in their community, if there is a burglary in progress or if they have details about those involved in criminality and can do this using 999 in an emergency, 101 in a non emergency or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

For further details of how to protect your property visit the Humberside Police crime prevention advice at www.humberside.police.uk/crime-reduction.

As part of a summer burglary campaign Humberside Police are encouraging people to follow the @humberbeat twitter account and #HPBurglary hashtag for information about how Humberside Police are tackling burglary in addition to advice on crime prevention.
