POLICE are appealing for information in connection with an incident which happened on Hornsea Burton Road in Hornsea on Wednesday 12 June.
Between 1445hrs and 1520hrs an 18 year old woman was walking home alone when she was approached by a man who was not known to her.
The man made an attempt to engage in conversation with the woman, who ignored him, and as she continued to walk away he is reported to have grabbed hold of her arm.
The woman then pulled away, he caused no injury to her, and the man walked away in the direction of Burton Way and the woman continued to walk along Hornsea Burton Road.
The man has been described to police as being a white male, of a stocky build, around 5ft 10ins tall with fairly short black hair that was about 2-3cms long. He had a pale complexion and a small amount of stubble on his face. He was wearing dark coloured jeans, possibly black and was between 25 to 28 years old.
