Did you witness a collision between a motorcycle and a car towing a caravan - Leven to Brandesburton, East Yorkshire?

The incident happened at approximately 1250hrs on Saturday 13 July between a blue Honda CRV estate car towing a caravan and a red Honda CBR motorcycle, outside the BlueRoseCaravanPark.

As a result of the collision the motorcyclist, a 47-year-old Hull man, was trapped under the caravan and had to be extracted by emergency services. He suffered multiple, serious injuries and was flown to Hull Royal Infirmary by the air ambulance where he has been detained. He is currently described as serious but improving.

The road was closed until approximately 1935hrs to allow emergency services to carry out their investigations and clear the road.
